🚨 Purely relying on best practice reports increases RISK. Because these reports provide generic and publicly available information. We lack the deep understanding of our specific customers.
🌫 The product we create will be generic and UNDIFFERENTIATED, because we use the best practice that everyone else is already doing.
INSTEAD DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH
⚖ Balance the risk with your resources and the time you have available. BUT it is a balance you need to strike.
👀 Go and to look at your specific customer base that you can leverage. Collect different type of data and knowledge to start exploring the problem space of your customers.
🔎 Generic Reports do not provide the depth. BUT you need that. You need that level of understanding if you want to make a difference.
💪 So, go and roll up your sleeves and do some research and go in depth.
